| Care and Maintainance : |
Hedgehogs must have a wheel, not wire, but plastic. Tunnels and cat ballls should be offered. The more they are handled the more friendly they become. Hedgehogs self-anoint. they build up a frothing lather which they spread on their backs.

Hedgehogs require a high protein but low fat diet. "James Wellbeloved" adult cat turkey biscuits, mealworms, crickets, waxworms, cooked chicken and occasionally fruit and veg. Scrambled egg and low fat yoghurt. Fresh water must be available at all times. |
